Barry Cowen, who has been a Red Cross Disaster Volunteer since August 2004, has two Red Cross Tattoos! He got his first Red Cross one after his deployment to Hurricane Wilma, in 2005.

We Are the Red Cross of Greater Chicagoland
The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago leads a regional grouping in Illinois and Northwest Indiana that serves more than 9.6 million people.
We respond to disasters in our area an average of 3-4 times every single day of the year. Most of those disasters are home fires.
We rely on more than 4,000 awesome volunteers: They are at the heart of our operations. We teach CPR, first aid, babysitting and more. We teach people how to prevent emergencies through education. This is our blog.
